Entering “Address book” from the Mail section, you can manually add or import automatically the e-mail addresses of your contacts. Click “Add” and enter an address and the info of the contact, for example the phone number or the name of the company, or click on “Import” to import the entire Address book from Outlook or other programs like Yahoo or Gmail.

Options

Dada.net has made tools available to personalize your e-mail account as easily as possible.

"Automatic forwarding" allows you to automatically send all of the messages you receive to another e-mail address.

The "signature" that you choose will automatically be added to every e-mail you write. You can always decide to change it or only use it for certain e-mails.

With the option "Personalize Account," you can choose which name and e-mail address is displayed when you send a message.

The function "Automatic Reply" will be useful when you are not able to check your e-mail or reply to received messages. If you choose to set the automatic reply, an e-mail containing a message that you are not there will be sent to everyone who contacts you. The message can be changed and turned off and on to suit your needs.

The "Virus and Spam Control" options will allow you to choose the level of protection of your mailbox, in order to have total control of antispam and antivirus. Once you have activated this, all e-mails recognized as spam or from e-mail addresses you have not approved (by putting them on your Whitelist), will not go through to your inbox.

Trash

The trash is where all of the e-mail you’ve deleted end up. These messages will stay in this folder until you cancel them indefinitely by clicking “Empty." In order to not run out of space, remember to empty unwanted message box. It is important to cancel messages that you don’t need anymore and remember to empty the trash every now and then because if not you won’t be able to receive other new messages!

Another way to earn more space is by participating in the life of the community! Uploading photos and videos, updating your blog, exchanging messages with other users will increase the amount of space that is available to you.

Personal messages

In the "Private Messages" section of the Message Center you will find messages that refer to the communications exchanged with members of the community.

To send a message to one of your contacts click on "Write me" while viewing their profile.

To read messages you've received click on "Inbox" under the YOU tab.
Just like e-mail, you can write or delete messages (remember to empty the trash) but you can't attach documents.
